Hey everyone!
I am currently in Seattle, waiting for tomorrow's pre-departure orientation. It still hasn't really sunk in that I am going to Japan (or that I will be there for a year), I'm guessing I won't really get it until we arrive in Tokyo. Maybe the orientation will help with that.
Tonight I got to catch up with Serena and met her dog, Cooper. We had some delicious pizza and cannoli at Serious Pie.
Tomorrow at the orientation I'll get to meet some of the other JETs, including one who will be in my prefecture. I'll also be moving to another hotel, which will be an adventure with my 100+ lbs of baggage. We'll see how that goes...
I'm so glad you caught up with Serena and that you got to meet her dog! woo hoo! I hope you took a photo.
