Weekend Highlights

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail about what I did last weekend, but for not having many plans laid out, it turned out to be a lot of fun. Some of the happenings:

Friday:
Dinner date with Tatsuya (at a normal dinner hour!). Went up Mount Godaisan to look at the city lights. A bit chilly, but a beautiful view. Saw a few cats, but no friendly ones this time.

Saturday:
Explored a fairly large shopping center I'd never really looked at before. Plenty of fun things to see. Purchases included a set of small plushes of my favorite Japanese novelty characters, dressed as chickens. Best of the three: a fat yellow bird wearing a chicken suit. ^_^

Sunday:
Went to the Kochi University Symphony Orchestra concert with Jamie. The music was really beautiful, and it was kind of exciting just to see so many musical instruments in one place again. (It's similar to the reaction I have to cats now... deprivation will do weird things to the mind.)

So, although I wasn't able to travel over the long weekend, I had a pretty good time all the same. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!
