Genki 2013: Tech Rehearsals

So, this weekend was spent on our final rehearsals for the Tosaben musical. We went through the entire show will all our props, costumes, makeup, sets and music, and it's looking pretty good. It was a very fun weekend, although today was a little rough for everyone since we all went out for karaoke (and drinking) together last night and overdid it a bit. Anyhow, it's crazy to think that at the end of this week we'll start performing. I'm excited for the shows, but I think I'll be pretty sad when the final performance is over.

I brought my camera to practice this weekend, and while I didn't take as many photos as I meant to, I thought I'd share a few. We all probably look a little strange up close because of the stage makeup, but from a distance it makes it easier to see our facial features. So don't mind the weird brown shadows on everyone's faces, or the eyeliner on the guys (hehehe).

I'm hoping that Phil will come to some of the shows and take a ton of awesome pictures like he did last year, because I'd love to have more photos of everyone in their costumes. Anyhow, this week I'll be reviewing my lines and trying to rest up for the next two weekends, because it's going to be hectic. But I'm looking forward to it.
