Starting tomorrow morning, the Genki Seinenkai musical will be going on tour across Kochi Prefecture! This weekend we'll have five shows; four of them are regular shows, and one of them is a shorter version for kids. It's going to be pretty hectic. Saturday starts at 7:30 am and ends around 10 pm, and Sunday's tour will go from 9 am to 9:30 pm. Since we'll be doing shows at five different venues, we have to be pretty quick to adjust to new stages, but given the nature of our jobs I'd say that most ALTs are nothing if not flexible.
I'm excited to finally be performing for real. Recently it was starting to feel like the musical was something we were just doing in an empty gym for our own entertainment. I'd kind of forgotten that it's a show. So I'm looking forward to being on stage in front of a live audience. Although things are still pretty rough around the edges, I'm really proud of what we've managed to put together.
Break a leg!
