Tomorrow morning I'll start the long haul back to Idaho! Even though it's so close, so far I don't entirely believe it's actually happening. Right now I can only think as far ahead as tonight's fireworks show, and I'm excited for that. It's the start of Yosakoi festival, so they'll fire off a ton of fireworks over the Kagami River. I'm going to wear my yukata (cotton summer kimono) to a festival for the first time! I took today off from work so I could finish packing and clean my apartment a bit, but it also gave me time to try something fancy with my hair. We'll see how it holds up.
Tomorrow morning my first flight is pretty early, so I won't be able to stay out too late tonight. Here's what my journey home encompasses:
Bus to Kochi Ryoma Airport
Flight to Osaka (Itami Airport)
Bus to Kansai International Airport
Eat something and wait for my next flight
Flight to Seattle
Go through Immigration and Customs
Flight to Boise
HOME!
On account of the time zone changes, I'm not sure how many hours the whole trip takes. But it's a long enough process, that's for sure. So far I've been coming home through San Francisco, so going through Seattle will add a little variety. I don't remember what that airport looks like.
Well, I'll be seeing some of you very soon!
It was great to see you! Enjoy the rest of your vacation! :-)
